MedActiv is presently looking for a Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy operations and guide the team towards delivering the highest standard of pharmaceutical care and service excellence.

The job incumbent will be mainly required to: 

• Ensure the compliance of pharmaceutical care by abiding to the legal scope of practice.
• Dispense medications to patients.
• Verify patients’ prescriptions for accuracy and safety, ensuring that no medication is contraindicated.
• Act as the main driver of customer service initiatives, resulting in outstanding customer experience.
• Manage the pharmacy’s inventory, staff and budget.
• Guide the pharmacy teams to live and promote the company’s values.
• Provide guidance to the team members with regards to pharmaceutical knowledge.
• Be well versed with product categorisation and brands.
• Achieve monthly financial targets.
• Ensure safe and responsible stock management as per the company’s policy.

• Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board, MOH, Mauritius.
• Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

• Results and target driven.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• People-oriented and customer-driven.
• Well versed with Microsoft tools.
